The 7’ x 7’ Honeypot Dutch Barn Playhouse is a marvellous double storey playhouse is one of our most favourite buildings. It is a less girly alternative to some of the other wendyhouses, but it still is a huge hit amongst all age groups or genders. The playhouse is approved by the TUV Safety Testing BS EN-71 European Toy Standard so rest assured, your children will be completely safe using the playhouse. The 7’ x 7’ Honeypot Dutch Barn Playhouse’s strength, stability and robustness comes from its tongue and grooved construction and solid sheet roofing and flooring which also aid in protecting against harsh weather.
As a protective measure, the door frames have 12mm space around the door to make sure that the children’s fingers don’t get hurt or trapped when playing. Even the door handle has been designed to provide maximum comfort when using it. A durable ladder with non-slip treads connects the two floors of the playhouse. The upper deck of the playhouse gives the kids access to a balcony as well.
The upper storey of the playhouse is supported by sturdy posts that easily support the children’s weight. The 7’ x 7’ Honeypot Dutch Barn Playhouse comes with five styrene glazed windows which are a safer alternative to glass as they don’t shatter as easily as glass. The side windows also have shutter features; after all, they also need a bit of privacy! The roof is completely covered with mineral roofing felt which protects the timber from wear and tear, helping keep the wendyhouse retain its traditional look for years to come. To offer the kids more playing area inside the playhouse, this building has four edged panel which maximises the area inside.
Please Note: All of our buildings come pre treated with a factory applied basecoat to protect the building in transit. We strongly recommend that the building is then treated again before installation.
